Quest Steps

Step 1 Obtain the White Dragon Hide

Permafrost — Lady Vox Dreadlands (Kunark) — Gorenaire

The White Dragon Hide is an uncommon drop from two raid bosses: Lady Vox in Permafrost Keep (Classic) and Gorenaire in the Dreadlands (Kunark). Either boss can drop it.

The White Dragon Hide is NO TRADE. The character completing the quest must personally loot it from the boss.

Step 2 Obtain the Platinum Diamond Wedding Ring (Magical)

This item is Jewelcrafted and tradeable — buy it from a player jeweler or the Bazaar if available, or make it yourself.

Jewelcrafting Recipe — Trivial 287

Diamond (world drop) + Enchanted Platinum Bar
Platinum Bars are sold by vendors such as Noirin Khalen in the PoK East Trade Building.

The trivial of 287 is extremely high — well beyond what most players can craft in the Classic era. Buying this from a skilled jeweler is strongly recommended.

Step 3 Obtain the Black Sapphire Platinum Necklace (Magical)

Like the ring, this item is Jewelcrafted and tradeable.

Step 4 Turn In to Karam Dragonforge

Rathe Mountains (+4100, +900)

Travel to the hut at the coordinates above and find Karam Dragonforge. Hand him all three items — the White Dragon Hide, the Platinum Diamond Wedding Ring, and the Black Sapphire Platinum Necklace — to receive the White Dragonscale Cloak.

Karam uses Kaladim Merchant faction. You need to be at least Indifferent for him to accept the turn-in.

If your Kaladim Merchant faction is too low to interact with Karam, you can use an Invisibility potion or the Sneak ability to complete the trade while hidden — NPCs treat sneaking characters as Indifferent regardless of faction.
