Meldrath's Majestic Mansion Progression
You need to have access to Meldrath's Majestic Mansion to start this page. All quest items are pre-lootable.
Progression Introduction
After you have completed Zone Access for MMM, you can start Crystallos Zone Access. You must complete all of this page to be flagged for the MMM Raid Access (T3).
Raid Access
Part One
Zone: Start Fort Mechanotus
Hail Clockwork Warmarshal for the task "Exploring the Mansion". Next, zone into MMM. You'll need to locate the Oil Fountain, Glass Halls, Steam Stage, Compression Room, and Graveyard. After exploring the last spot, your Exploring task is complete. Return to Clockwork Warmarshal and hail for a task update to "The Search for the Ultimate Story".
- NPC: Clockwork Warmarshal
Requirements: Level 75? 80?
Note: The green goos see through invis. Other mobs may also see through invis in this zone. Be vigilant in checking or be prepared to fight a group of enemies.
Note: You can zone into MMM from the Steam Factory to get to the graveyard easily.
Part Two
Zone: Dragonscale Hills
Gather a raid force and head to the Minotaur Fort in Dragonscale Hills. On the first floor inside the fort is a door. Clicking the door opens the instance for Deepscar's Den. Prepare to fight Overseer Gakkor Deepscar. After the Overseer has been slain, loot a Cryptic Timetable.
- Raid Drop
- 12 Drops per kill on FV
Part Three
Zone: Dragonscale Hills
Gather a raid force and locate Falrazim in Dragonscale Hills. Say [powerful], and accept the shared task "Big Bynn's Return". The door behind Falrazim is the entrance to the instance. Prepare to fight Big Bynn I. After Big Bynn I has been slain, loot a Coded Log Sheet.
- Raid Drop
- 12 Drops per kill on FV
Big Bynn I
Once all are ready tell Tinmizer "begin" to activate Big Bynn. The dragon itself hits for up to 10k and throughout the event will "swallow" a group. When this happens the group is ported into his stomach and need to destroy 6 crystals to get regurgitated out. While doing so the group also has offtank a number of mechanical rats and handle a debuff draining 300 mana/tick, 2k dot, and snare. If you don't destroy the crystals before this fades (2.5 minutes) you take a 90k DT. Don't bother trying to kill the rats, just get the group out and if the rats follow the raid can dps them down together. Since Big Bynn swallows groups the raid needs to be balanced so that each can handle the dps, tanking, and healing needs.
The event plays out through phases based on Big Bynn's health, the exact percentages may have changed as there are contradictory reports. Tinmizer will give an emote for each new phase regardless:
100%
Nothing special, just melee dps and the swallow
90%
5 Blazing Faycite crystals spawn and shortly after Big Bynn will eat any that aren't destroyed. If he eats more than one he gets a substantial heal and casts Blaze of Glory, a 12K PBAE. The more crystals he eats, the more frequent he casts.
80%
5 Shivercite crystals spawn and shortly after Big Bynn will eat any that aren't destroyed. If he eats more than one he gets a substantial heal and casts Shiverspine, a spell slow, snare, accuracy debuff, 6K dd and 6k dot PBAE. The more crystals he eats, the more frequent he casts.
70%
5 Skynate crystals spawn and shortly after Big Bynn will eat any that aren't destroyed. If he eats more than one he gets a substantial heal and casts Skyslam, a frontal AE 4.5k dd, 4.5k mana drain, 1k endurance drain, stun, and flux. The more crystals he eats, the more frequent he casts.
60%
5 Feralcore Faycite crystals spawn and shortly after Big Bynn will eat any that aren't destroyed. If he eats more than one he gets a substantial heal and casts Frenzied Breath, a 6.4k dd, 6.4k dot, and big accuracy debuff PBAE. The more crystals he eats, the more frequent he casts.
50%
5 Foulverin Faycite crystals spawn and shortly after Big Bynn will eat any that aren't destroyed. If he eats more than one he gets a substantial heal and casts Fetid Stench, a 6.5k dd, 3.2k dot, 1.2k mana drain, 300 endurance drain, and increase to melee damage taken PBAE. This has 45 disease counters, so cure the tank. The more crystals he eats, the more frequent he casts.
40%
Big Bynn casts a one time blasts of When Sparks Fly, a PBAE with silence, root, 3k dd, 3k dot, 3k mana drain, and accuracy debuff and then Fizzle, a PBAE 4.2k dd, 1k mana/end drain, and flux.
Some reports put each of the above at lower intervals so be aware that extra dps may shift the windows. Either way, crystals are the number one priority. After the 5 sets of 5 crystals the fight continues until 10%.
At 10% Big Bynn fires off Crystal Fever, a 4k dd, 4k dot, and melee slow, and then deactivates as 3 large golems spawn. These have a lot of hp and quad for 7k each. When all three are dead Big Bynn gets back up and fights to the death, now casting Crystal Fever frequently for the remainder.
Part Four
Zone: Fort Mechanotus
Next, you need to obtain a Prototype Decoder. You have two options. Gather a raid force and kill "Octa the Collector". Or, head northwest and kill the rare "Oxidilus the Junk Collector". Since this piece drops off a rare as well, hopefully on Mischief, other rares will drop a decoder. Be on the lookout when killing rares!
Note: Oxidilus (Rare) doesn't see through invis
Part Five
Part Six
Zone: Fortress Mechanotus
Hail Clockwork Warmarshal for a task update. Locate Plink Squichbolt and say [I will eliminate them] to pull the Raid Instance: Steam Factory. Say ready to the brownie to enter. There, you will find 3 raid targets: Chief Mechanic Clankwrench, Spindlecrank, and Mining Behemoth. You will need one Notebook Page from each boss. Combine them in your Codified Prototype Decoder.
Requirements: 7 players in zone with you to request the raid instance
- NPC: Plink Squichbolt
- Steam Factory
- Information
- Quest Giver - Plink Squichbolt
Requirements to join: None
Requirements to request: None
- Request phrase: eliminate
- Entry phrase: "ready" to rebel brownie emissary
- Raid Size: 54
- Raid Access Completed! You are now flagged for T3 Raid
- Steam Factory
Spindlecrank
Spindlecrank hits for 8500, flurries, AE rampage, and casts two spells:
Mining Behemoth
The Mining Behemoth hits for up to 9k and has AE rampage. It also will use an AE which removes lev, fd, knockback (need name). During the event various "a *color* crystal carrier" activate and slowly path to the Behemoth. If they reach it something happens based upon the color:
Clankwrench
Chief Mechanic Clankwrench hits for up to 8500, has single and AE rampage, and can flurry.
During the event he will give out emotes:
Activate absorption panels! We'll take advantage of the energy they're putting into this beating!
Stop all melee dps. After 50 seconds it does an AE which scales from 6k to 20k based on how much melee damage you did
Activate spell shields! We'll see how they do without their precious magics!
Stop all caster dps. After 50 seconds it does an AE which scales from 6k to 20k based on how much magic damage you did
The lightning behind him has some type of aura which can DT so be sure to pull him off his spawn point.
When Clankwrench reaches 70% his health locks and a "modifed steamsuit" activates.
It hits for up to 3k and has two spells:
Corrosive Acid, a single target spell and melee slow, and
Steam Jet, a frontal 8k AE.
The goal is to have the add cast Steam Jet while facing Clankwrench, doing so removes the health lock. If you fail to do this in time Clankwrench will cast an unresistable 20k frontal AE.Once the lock is removed you can bring Clankwrench down to 60% when it will lock again and another steamsuit activates, requiring you to get it to cast Steam Jet on him to continue. This repeats every 10% until Clankwrench dies.
You can either keep one steamsuit alive and offtanked near Clankwrench, turning it to face the boss each time the health locks and killing other steamsuits as they spawn, or you can kill each steamsuit once it has served the purpose.
Chief Mechanic Clankwrench drops 12 Notebook Page for progression and spawns a chest
